Facility managers play a unique role in reducing the carbon emissions of their organisations and buildings, via implementing strategic procurement and maintenance practices, such as in areas of energy efficiency, renewable energy sources, waste reduction and clean transportation.

Graham Tier

IFMA Past Global Board Chair, & General Manager, District Facility Services, West Kowloon Cultural District Authority

Graham Tier, FMP, CFM, MRICS, PMP, IFMA Fellow, currently serves as the General Manager, District Facility Services with West Kowloon Cultural District Authority, the largest Cultural and Arts developments under construction in the world. Tier is a fellow member of IFMA. He joined IFMA in 2005 and has held a number of senior positions in the Hong Kong chapter, including president in 2009-10. In those roles he has advanced IFMA as a custodian of industry best practices.

Jonathan Bailey

City Facilities Management (HKG) Limited

General Manager Strategic Partnerships

Jonathan is the General Manager for Strategic Partnerships in Asia at City Facilities Management. He is responsible for expanding the number of partners working with City in the region and implementing City’s unique FM model that provides an end-to-end solution for the design, delivery, and maintenance of facilities in accordance with the sustainability and business goals of the partner organization.

Prior to joining City FM, Jonathan was Regional General Manager for Genki International whereby he built partnerships with airlines, airports and governments on behalf of a non-for-profit Health Technolgy start-up called The Commons Project. Before that role, Jonathan was on the Swire management program for 10 years seconded to Cathay Pacific where he took up several roles across 5 countries such as Country Manager Israel and Head of Digital Innovation for Airports.

Jonathan, or Jonny as he prefers to be called, has a BA in Combined Social Sciences from Durham University in the UK.

My Sustainability Goals for 2023:

I hope to see the increased awareness of the need to take up sustainable practices in Hong Kong turn into action. Whether that is businesses taking it upon themselves to act upon the Kigali amendment, or individuals taking pride in their recycling practices and reducing overall consumption. There is momentum now in Hong Kong to change behaviours and that needs to be realized.

Katherine works with CLP Holdings as Principal Product Lead, Digital, in accelerating and facilitating the commercialization of innovative solutions in the various verticals, such as building energy management, sustainability, digital operation platforms for the grid and renewable energy solutions.

Katherine has over 20 years of experience with the ICT industry. She started her career in engineering and gradually moved into business development and general management. Prior to joining CLP, Katherine held the position of SVP, Product Development & Management with HKT, managing multiple product lines including Consumer Broadband, Fixed & Internet Services, HKT education. She was also a core member to build and groom the HKT Smart Living line of business.

Katherine obtained both her PhD & BSc degree from the School of Electronics and Communications Engineering, University of Bath, UK.

Ken Lam

Strategic Marketing & Customer Success Manager

Ken Lam currently leads the Strategic Marketing & Customer Success Management for Service Business, where he is focused on helping customers to take full advantage of the new energy landscape as a trusted partner.

Since joining the company in 2011, Ken has held several roles and led key projects of Industrial Automation, Power Systems, Digital Energy and Digital Grid, in the Commercial Real Estate, Data Centre, Transportation, Water and Electrical Utility segments.

Ken holds a MSc in Knowledge Management and BEng in Industrial & Systems Engineering from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
